Do you have a working microphone which you are willing to use?: Yes, but it's a bit buggy so it takes about three to five second before use then it's fine. So at first there may be an initial delay.
GENERAL QUESTIONS:
What makes you stand out from the other applicants?: I've been Staff on Gmod before a little on sandbox and Darkrp but mainly it's been on Starwarsrp. I was an Admin on a starwars server which shut down due to the owner not having the funds. The server was called Origin Gaming but it was an amazing server while it lasted. I have knowledge of the ULX commands and know how to deal with tricky people and young people who may get upset in certain situations. I'm fair but people can't get off the hook without good reason.
Why should you become a moderator? As I said in the post above I have past experience of being in a staff position and I've dealt with a lot of situations that could come up in a Starwarsrp server so I think I'm definitely well equipped with the right tool set.
KNOWLEDGE OF RULES:
Please explain what the following phrases and such mean:
RDM: RDM or Random Death Match is where you kill a person without valid reason.
RDA: RDA or Random Arrest is where you arrest someone without a valid reason.
Attempted RDM: Attempted RDM or ARDM is where you try to kill someone without reason but fail. It is still punishable.
NLR: NLR or New Life Rule is where you don't remember your past. So you wouldn't go kill the guy who killed you because he killed you.
FailRP: Fail Roleplay or FailRP is where you don't follow what you're character would do. E.g being a CT and telling the commander you're below him then jumping on his head and doing the lion pose.
Metagaming: Metagaming is where you get information which you're character wouldn't have known in game via skype, TS3 or even OOC. If you didn't know it IC or by comms it's metagame.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION QUESTIONS:
How should "admin sits" be handled? What is the process of handling them?: First you will see a filed complaint against another player. If it was RDM you would check the logs. You'd check to see if it was 1 person damaging one or them both attacking each other. Then you'd bring them to an area where you can be private and not interrupted and listen to both sides. With the evidence then and both sides you'd take appropriate action. Scenario: He shot me! There's proof of him killing him. The guy who shot the other guy says "He called me ugly" This is a case of RDM.
If there was a player "minging" around and not roleplaying correctly, what would you do?: So first I would check myself to see if the report was valid and it was actually "minging". If I see valid proof I would talk to him and tell him if he continues further punishment would take place. This would be his verbal warning. If he repeats the "minging" he'd get a warn and if he does it again a kick.
If someone asked you to spawn an item or vehicle for them, how would you handle the situation?: This is situational. If a pilot who was cleared for takeoff asked for an LAAT I would grant him one. If he was a pilot who didn't have permission I would tell him to get permission first. If someone asked for ammo and had no money I'd give them some. But if they had money I'd say you can buy you're own. Unless it was a big event then I would make sure everyone had enough ammo for the event.
What comes first? Role-play or administrative duty? : In all I'm still here to have fun. I'll always role-play first I won't fly around waiting for sits. When they do happen I'll stop my roleplay and help the person in need then I would resume RP.
